Rose Vendor
This fellow, in the color-coordinated shirt, was a rose vendor at a street fair near where I live. I don’t know what was more interesting, the wonderful selection of roses he had or the equally delightful metal flower carts. The carts looked so ... French. Perfect little utilitarian contraptions of faded metal with places for water cans, galvanized pots and their own enameled signs. And of course it had nifty little spoked wheels. I don’t know about anyone else, but I bought more roses than I really needed.
