Painting Venice
Last day in Italy. Final day of visiting the incomparable Venice. Sat and sketched this famous scene from San Marco Piazza. I know I should have painted this cathedral and its crowded plaza, but all my gear was packed away. I never drew a pigeon before — or children rousting them either. I like this sketch.
